The Brief
The existing bathroom suite was dated, the grouting had failed in several places, and there were early signs of water ingress into the subfloor — meaning this was as much about waterproofing as it was about aesthetics.
Our Approach
We stripped the bathroom back to bare walls and floor, fully tanked and waterproofed the wet areas, and installed underfloor heating before laying new marble-effect porcelain tiling. A new walk-in shower enclosure, vanity unit and WC were then fitted and connected.
The Result
The bathroom was fully tanked, tiled and fitted within two weeks with no interruption to the property’s water supply — finished to a standard that fully complies with current wet room Building Regulations.
